These terms are the agreement between you and Hookups For Kenyans LLC covering your use of hookupsforkenyans.com, the Hookups For Kenyans Android application, and the support desk reachable from this site. Please read them before you use the service. By browsing the site, submitting a comment or a report, downloading the app, or contacting the desk, you accept these terms.

Who may use the service

This is an adult service. You may use it only if you are at least eighteen years old and legally able to enter into a contract. If you are under eighteen, you must leave the site; do not submit a comment, a report or any other information, and do not install the app.

You must also be using the service lawfully where you are. Some countries restrict adult dating material. Checking the law that applies to you is your responsibility, not ours.

We do not knowingly deal with anyone under eighteen. If you believe a listing, comment or message involves a minor, stop engaging with it and report it immediately. Reports of that kind are treated as the highest priority and the material is removed while we look at it.

What the service is, and what it is not

Hookups For Kenyans is an introductions and information service for adults. We publish listings and written guidance, and our support desk helps arrange introductions between adults who have both agreed to one.

What we do

Gather and publish listings, keep them current, answer questions through the support desk, pass an introduction between two adults once both have agreed, read every report that reaches us, and remove material that breaks these terms.

What we do not do

We do not run background checks. We do not verify identity documents, income, marital status, photographs or employment. We do not hold anyone’s money between members. We do not supervise what happens once two adults are in contact, and we are not present when you meet.

What this means for you

Nothing on this site should be read as our assurance that a person is who they say they are, that they will behave well, or that any arrangement between you will be honoured. The judgement is yours, and you should make it carefully.

Listings and the accuracy of information

Listings on this site are gathered from people who ask to be listed and from material submitted to the desk. We check them for obvious problems and we keep them current as far as we reasonably can, but we cannot confirm that every detail in a listing is true. Details also go out of date: people change their minds, change their numbers, or stop looking.

Written guides on this site, including anything about what people commonly expect or discuss, are general information for adults. They are not professional, legal, medical or financial advice, and they are not a promise about what you personally will experience.

How you agree to behave

Using this service means agreeing not to do the following, whether on the site, through the app, through the desk, or in any contact that began here.

• Pretend to be someone else, or claim an approval, partnership, endorsement or official status you do not have.
• Involve anyone under eighteen in any way, or post, request or share material involving a minor.
• Harass, threaten, stalk, blackmail or intimidate anyone, or continue contact after being asked to stop.
• Ask for or pressure anyone into sending money, airtime, transport fare, gift cards or cryptocurrency, including through invented emergencies.
• Publish anyone’s private information without their agreement, including phone numbers, addresses, workplaces, identity numbers or private photographs.
• Post sexually explicit material, advertise commercial sexual services, or offer or seek anything unlawful.
• Use the site to advertise an unrelated business, to recruit for another service, or to send bulk or repeated promotional messages.
• Scrape, copy, republish or resell our listings or written material, or run automated tools against the site.
• Attempt to gain access to accounts, servers or data you are not entitled to, or interfere with the running of the service.

Our community guidelines explain the same expectations in plainer terms, with examples. Where the two documents overlap, these terms are the binding version.

Packages, payments and refunds

Some parts of the service are paid for. The packages, what each one includes, the current prices and the only payment methods we accept are set out on the pricing pagewhich is the single authoritative source. Prices quoted anywhere else, by anyone, are not ours.

• A package buys the work of the support desk. It is not a purchase of another person’s time, consent, company or agreement, and it cannot be.
• No payment obliges anybody to meet you, reply to you or continue contact. Any adult may decline or stop at any point.
• We never ask for your banking password, PIN, one-time code or full identity document in order to take a payment.
• Where work has already been carried out on your request, a package is not refundable. If you believe you were charged in error, or that something went wrong on our side, contact the desk and we will look at it on the facts.
• Money you choose to send directly to another person is entirely between you and them. We have no part in it, no record of it, and no ability to recover it.

Content you submit

This covers comments, report form submissions, listing details and anything else you send us. You keep ownership of what you write. By submitting it you give us permission to store it, to show it on the site where that is the point of submitting it, and to act on it, for example, to publish an approved comment or to investigate a report.

You confirm that what you submit is yours to send, that it is accurate so far as you know, and that publishing it will not break anyone else’s rights. We may edit, refuse or remove any submission, and we are not obliged to publish anything. The comment policy sets out how comments in particular are handled.

Our name and our material

Hookups For Kenyans is a registered trademark of Hookups For Kenyans LLC. The site’s design, written guides, layout, code and logo belong to us or are used by us with permission, and are protected by copyright.

You may read, share and link to our pages. You may not copy our written material onto another site, pass it off as your own, or use our name, logo or trademark in a way that suggests we are connected with, approve of, or operate something we do not.

Other websites and services

The site links to other websites and uses outside services for things such as hosting, delivery of notifications and spam filtering. We do not control those sites or services and we are not responsible for their content, their security or how they handle your information. When you follow a link away from here, the other site’s own terms and privacy policy apply.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service running and current, but we do not promise that it will be available without interruption or free of errors. Maintenance, hosting problems and faults happen. We may add, change, suspend or withdraw any part of the service, including listings and features, without notice.

We may also change these terms. The revision date at the foot of this page always shows when the current version took effect. Significant changes will be flagged on the site. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the revised terms.

Disclaimers and limits on liability

The service is provided as it is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude all warranties that are not expressly set out in these terms, including any implied warranty of accuracy, suitability for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability.

We are not liable for the conduct of any person you encounter through this site, online or in person. We are not liable for money you choose to send to anyone, for arrangements that do not go the way you hoped, or for loss arising from information in a listing being wrong or out of date.

Where we are liable to you despite the above, our total liability for all claims connected with the service is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the three months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost opportunity, or damage to reputation.

None of this limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

Suspension and ending access

You can stop using the service whenever you like. We may remove content, withdraw a listing, block access or refuse further dealings, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe these terms have been broken, if someone is being put at risk, or if we are required to act by law. The sections on content, our material, liability and governing law continue to apply after access ends.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and the courts of Kenya have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from your use of the service.

If something has gone wrong, please contact the desk first. Most complaints are resolved faster that way than through a formal process, and we would rather fix a problem than argue about it.
